What this guide is all about:
This site aims to be a central focal point dedicated to the collection and dissemination of information regarding translations of Islamic resources throughout the world.

These resources may be books, essays, dissertations, or audio/video.  The translations may be done by professionals or volunteers, for commercial publication or private circulation, or by students as part of their studies, and may be from any language to any other language.

What are its benefit to:
Translators
can help avoid unnecessary duplication of effort and wastage of time that results when two people translate the same book without knowing about each other.  Any translator will be able to check if a title is being translated before starting on it.
Researchers
can identify unpublished, out-of-circulation, and rare translations to help people who are doing research.
Publishers
can identify and communicate with translators throughout the world and become aware of their areas of interest and expertise
Everyone
can see the amount of translation work being undertaken at any given time, from any language to any language, anywhere in the world.

What you can do to help:
Send us information about any translations you are aware of,
in any language, and whether they are:

(o) currently happening
