L’Essere Umano nel Corano analizza il rango dell’essere umano nella visione Islamica del mondo.
Secondo l’Islam gli esseri umani non sono considerati esclusivamente come animali dalla statura eretta che possiedono unghie piatte, camminano su due gambe e parlano. Com’è scritto nel Sacro Corano, essi sono molto più complessi e misteriosi di quanto la parola “essere umano” possa lasciare intendere.
Nel Sacro Libro gli esseri umani sono elogiati e, allo stesso tempo, biasimati ripetutamente: per loro vengono utilizzati i migliori encomi e i peggiori rimproveri. Essi sono considerati superiori ai cieli, alla terra e agli angeli e, allo stesso tempo, inferiori alle bestie da soma e ai demoni; sono considerati delle creature in grado di conquistare il mondo e di mettere al proprio servizio gli angeli, eppure così deboli da poter sprofondare nella più infima bassezza.
Sono gli esseri umani, quindi, che devono decidere per se stessi e determinare il loro destino ultimo.
