	Dua Kumayl (The Supplication of Kumayl), Arabic text, English translation and commentary     In Arabia fourteen centuries ago, a man asked his respected friend for a recommendation: what prayer would be the most useful to one seeking assurance of God's mercy? This prayer, known as the du`a of Kumayl, was given in response. The man's name was Kumayl, son of Ziyad, and his friend was Imam Ali ibn Talib (a), the Commander of the Faithful.
