*QUESTION:

Is it necessary in wudhoo to wash the arm from elbow to the tips of the
fingers in totality, i.e. without leaving any portion dry, as in the
case of washing the face. Especially answer the question in reference to
various Hadiths ( e.g. in Mun La Yahzaral Faqih) which narrates the way
Imams (A.S) used to perform the wudhoo just by taking the water thrice
from the vessel. How is it possible, if required, to wash the arm
completely, even in between the fingers, by a handful of water

Please answer the question in accordance with the ruling of Ayatullah
Seestani (May he live long).

ANSWER:

Once water is poured on the hand from elbow to the tip, then the rest is to
reach water to all parts of the hand by wiping. This is quite possible by
taking water thrice from the vessel.
