This analytical study by a scholar trained at al-Azhar university examines the history of the recording of the sunnah and the issues of fabrications of traditions ascribed to the Prophet Muhammad (s). He mentions the various ways in which falsified traditions ended up in reputable collections of hadith and discusses the major perpetrators of such falsification.
