In all of the 15 years that Imam was in exile, he did not miss even one night going to the shrine of Hazrat Ali (a.s.), except when he was ill. Every night until dawn, Hazrat Imam would go to the Haram and would stand for a long time reciting Ziyarat. When he would go to Kerbala, every morning and evening he would go and recite Ziyarat at the shrine of his grandfather Imam Hussein (a.s.) and the shrine of Hazrat Abbas.
