Ahl al-Bayt

Ahl al-Bayt (أهل البيت‎, Persian: اهلِ بیت‎), also Āl al-Bayt or Ahlul Bayt, is a phrase meaning, literally, "People of the House" or "Family of the House". Within the Islamic tradition, the term refers to the family of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. In Shia Islam the Ahl al-Bayt are central to Islam and interpreters of the Quran and Sunnah. Shias believe they are successors of Muhammad and consist of Muhammad, Fatimah, Ali, Hasan, and Husayn (known collectively as the Ahl al-Kisa, "people of the mantle") and the rest of the Imams from The Fourteen Infallibles.

The twelve Infallible Imams are the successors of The Best human being, Muhammad (SAWA) who is the Most humble servant of Allah (SWT). Allah Grants special powers to His Most humble servants as we read in the Hadeeth Qodsi ( O My servant, obey Me, I will make you like me, you say to something: Be, it will be.عبدي أطعني تكن مثلي، تقول للشيء كن فيكون.

This gift has been given to prophets like Easa who was able to bring dead back to life, as well as deputies of the prophets like Aasif ibn Barkhis ( deputy of Sulaiman) who brought the throne of Bilqees from Yemen to Palestine in less than an eye blink.
The status of the Infallible Imams comes from the status of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) as we read in Quran: A Progeny, wvery part if it is from the other part ذُرِّيَّةً بعضُها من بعض

The Prophet Muhammed (SAWA) has the greatest gifts from Allah,v then his Progeny Ahlul Bayt (AS) who are part from him . There is no question of any act from any of gifted servants of Allah, away from Allah (SWT). Every act from them is by permission from Allah because they are constantly and continuously  with Allah (SWT). The Hadeeth states: Verily, Allah Has made the hearts of the Imams, a place of His Will, so, whatever He wants, they will want. إنَّ اللهَ جعل قلوبَ الأئمة موضعا لمشيئته فإذا شاء شيئا شاءوه

Everything they want is exactly what Allah Wants.

Anything that occurs depends on the permission of Allah.

As for whether the Imams can exert control over the natural world, through the permission of Allah, within Shi'ism, there are varying views. Some scholars hold that they have the capability to affect the natural world in any way. Others say they have this ability in special cases where a supranatural act (karamat) is called for. Still others reject this idea as heterodox (ghuluww).

I personally hold the first view.

No one is part from Allah. Allah, The Glorious Has Created the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and his Progeny Ahlul Bayt (AS) from His Noor but no one is part from Allah. Allah Says in Quran abiut the creation of Adam: When I Have Completed creating him and breathed on him from My Spirit, then you fall down prostrating for him. (Sura Al-Hijr, verse 29). This does not mean that Adam was created from a part of Allah.

'We believe that no one and nothing can be part of Allah.

There are many authentic narrations in this regard. Ahlul Bayt (AS) encouraged their followers to mention their truth , merits and virtues. Imam Ja'far Al-Sadiq (AS) said: Keep our truth alive. May Allah bestow His Mercy on every one who keeps our truth alive among peopleأحيوا أمرنا رحم الله من أحيا أمرنا . Biharul Anwaar, V. 44, page 282.

There are hundreds of authentic narrations on the great reward of reciting Salawaat on the Prophet and his holy Progeny. You can find many of them in main the books of Hadeeth, like A-Kari,Al-tahtheeb,Al-faqeeh and Al-istebsar. There are full books on this subject. There are authentic narrations that any believer who recites Salawaat, the angels will pray for him as far as he is reciting Salawaat. And they don't stop praying for him unless he stops reciting Salawaat.

Bismihi ta'ala

There are difference of opinion among our esteemed jurists, so this is something you will need to specifically find out what the fatwa is of your Marja' Taqleed.

I would add that for us Muslims, compatibility is extremely important, not just in life ambitions, or personal preferences or feelings, but in lifestyle and ideology. For example, if you are a Muslim, you would like to have an Islamic environment in your household, and create a spiritual atmosphere, with correct divine direction, under Allah ta'ala. If  you are a follower of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.), you want your family members, and your children to live and breath the Imams as, and follow their lifestyle and represent them.

This can only happen if there is synchronisation in belief and ideology as well.

With prayers for your sucess.
