I know that Islam is a religion for all humanity. Why then does the Qur'an and narrations only mention Prophets from Middle Eastern origin? Are there any narrations of other Prophets from Europe, India, China, Native Americans, and so on?

This video explains from a linguistic perspective why the Qur'an does not name non-Middle Eastern prophets.

The Shi'i hadith collections do, however, include some narrations on the Buddha.
