I take daily showers. If I am not in a state of ritual impurity and it is not Jum'a, can I still make Ghusl and have this count for Wudhu as well? Is there a specific intention that I must make to achieve that?

Wudu is a worship and cannot be replaced by ordinary washing or shower. The recommended ghusls are described in books of fiqh and you cannot make ghusl out of those described.
