Islam

Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion teaching that there is only one God (Allah) and that Muhammad is the messenger of God. It is the world's second-largest religion with over 1.8 billion followers or 24.1% of the global population, known as Muslims. Muslims make up a majority of the population in 50 countries.

It depends on your circumstances. If you are surrounded by people who can harm or might harm you if you speak out the truth, then you need to be careful and don't disclose any thing which can harm you or harm any other believer.

in general, political matters which are controversial should be avoided.

Our responsibility is to convey the message of real Islam to those who don't know it, avoiding any issue which can be rejected or create difficulty which does not help spreading the message of the truth.

It is allowed and he would probably be happy about the marriage, however, it is understandable if the family wishes to postpone it. Also, some cultures have viewpoints about these things (which are not specifically prescribed by Islamic law but could be taken into consideration although it is not required to adhere to cultural viewpoints).

I feel it is good to introduce people to the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (A) through the hadith transmitted from the Imams. So, a good collection of hadith, such as _The Scale of Wisdom: A Compendium of Shi'i Hadith_, or the book that was circulated a couple decades ago, _A Bundle of Flowers_.

Some of the translations of books by Ayatollah Motahhari are also quite lucid and accessible.

Also sharing du'as like Du'a Kumayl.

One really knows more about what Shia Islam is about by reading these types of things and getting a sense of the worldview and understandings behind them, and what the tradition of scholarship is like, rather than some of the more polemical issues (such as the details of how to do wudhu or disagreements over specific personalities), unless the person has a specific interest in certain formal matters of sectarian debate. The essence of the differences between Sunnism and Shi'ism really goes beyond the types of sectarian issues that are debated about, but this sort of thing can be much harder to put into words.

No. On the contrary, the authentic evidence from Ahlul Bayt (AS) who don't say but what the Prophet (SAWA) said, is very clear that circumcision is obligatory.

Circumcision is obligatory as an act by itself on every Muslim males and is a condition for validity of Tawaf around the Ka’ba in Hajj or Umra.
Circumcision is obligatory on every Muslim male or convert male to Islam. Being a convert to Islam, it is compulsory for you to get circumcised as the Hadeeth narrated from Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) that Imam Ali (AS) said: When a man becomes a Muslim, he must get circumcised even if he reached the age of eighty.
( Was'il al-Shia by al-Hurr al-Aamili, vol. 21, page 440.)
It is not allowed for man to perform Tawaf ( around the Ka'bah) if he is not circumcised as it narrated from Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq ( AS): uncircumcised man is not allowed to do Tawaf around Ka'bah. ( Wasa'il al-Shia by al-Hurr al-Aamili, vol. 13, page 270).

Bismillah,

Asalamu Alaykom,

If you mean by 'stay' to live with your husband's family then no, this isn't required. In fact it is obligatory upon the husband to provide a suitable accommodation for his wife in order for her to feel safe and comfortable.

Living with in-laws can be an option for the newly  married couple who have just gotten on their feet, however it has been shown many times that  that long term living with in-laws can cause many problems as well as a lack of privacy for the couple. Therefore it is recommended that the couple try to eventually find their own place.

May Allah grant you success

You can be a Shia Muslim by just believing in the main faith of Islam (There no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger and Ali is the successor after the Prophet). This faith is enough for you to become a Shia Muslim.

Obligatory acts are not condition to be a Shia Muslim although you need to do whatever you know and can afford.

When you perform Hajj, you need to get yourself circumcised before performing Tawaf around the Ka'bah.

Human dignity of woman does not allow her to be with more than man at the same time. It is not only in Islam, but in all main religions that woman is allowed to marry one man at the same time. More than one man at the same time means destroying the dignity of the woman and shaking her self respect. Obviously, if a woman is allowed to marry more than one man at the same time, the society will lose trust in the belonging of the children to their father as no one will know who is the real father of the child. That itself is a big damage to the human sonciety.
