God (Allah)

Allah (الله‎, romanized: Allāh) is the Arabic word for God in Abrahamic religions. In the English language, the word generally refers to God in Islam.

Thank you for your question. While God cannot be compared with His creation, His creation manifests His perfection. To try to completely empty the mind and heart is a nigh impossible task as humans are limited beings and even their conception of emptiness or limitlessness is faulty. There is no harm in images as long as they are not the subject of your worship.

May you always be successful

The Hujjat is must in every time, either publicly known or hidden from public for reasons, as Ameerul Mo'mineen (AS) said (Nahjul Balaghah, 497).

After Prophet Easa (AS) the Hujjat was Sham'oon Ibn Hammon al-Safa, then Yahya ibn Zakaria, the Munthir, then Sulaimah, then Burdah, then Muhammad (SAWA).(Amaali al-Tousi, 443)

In al-Kaafi 1:177 you can find many Hadeeths in this regard.

Khalib ibn Sinan has been mentioned as a prophet fifty years before Prophet Muhammad ( Rawdhat al-Kaafi 342).

Abu Talib (AS) was from deputies (AWSIYAA') after the prophets.

Ameerul Mo'mineen Ali (AS) was asked: Who was the last Wasi ( Deputy) before Muhammad? He replied: My father. Al-Ghadeer 7:389 from Dhiaul Alameen by al-Fotouni.

What you were told is not always correct. Allah's forgiveness is much greater than our imagination. Sincere repentance and seeking forgiveness can omit the sins totally as Allah says ( Verily, Allah forgives all the sins)(Sura 39, Verse 53). More than forgiveness, Allah changes the sins of very sincere believers who repent, believe and do good in to good deeds (Sura al-Furqan, verse 70).

Bismillah,

Asalamu Alaykom,

Earning a halal income is an act of worship and is pleasing to Allah swt. Yes, it is true that some jobs may also fit into different catergories too. For example a job which involves charity related work such as helping the needy people or orphans could fall under the category of mustahab jobs. You may then get jobs which fall under the category of makruh such as selling Kafans or working in a slaughterhouse. Such jobs although not haram, become makruh as a kafan seller may wish more people to die for sales to go up, and the one who slaughters animals for meat, may become used to such an action and cold hearted.

What one should be careful of is falling into a job which is in the haram category making ones income unlawful.

May Allah grant you success

Thank you for your question. Just keep trying and don't lose hope in the day in which you will overcome these relapses. Some sins are sticky. They may be habitual or you may not have truly realised the damage that they are causing. If you keep trying you will succeed eventually. Learn to disparage your sins, to see them as stemming from ignorance and understand that their pleasure stops you from having a healthy soul and fulfilling your potential as a human. Sins are like poison that take time to get rid of, and every new sin is a new dose and more time lost.

May you always be successful

Thank you for your question. Perhaps the way to understand asking for ease is that we ask for ease in those things that can be made easier for us without compromising what is really good for us. That is that we make things unnecessarily difficult for ourselves through numerous mistakes and miscalculations and so we ask Allah to mitigate those difficulties that are out of a lack of wisdom. But test and difficulty are a part of the development of an Islamic personality rooted in faith and those with higher capacities can be tested with more extreme difficulties. That difficulty can be whilst being surrounded by material ease, and it is through those difficulties that a higher form of ease is found. When a person is needless of all except God, they are at ease despite whatever circumstance they find themselves in.

May you always be successful

Real Islam of the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) provides authentic answer to any question and full explanation to every doubt.
You should never feel disturbed from any question or any doubt, but face it frankly and seek the answer from authentic scholars.

You mentioned a question: How to know that the higher power is Allah?

Answer: Allah is Creator of every creature in the universe and the sophisticated  system in the creation and creatures proves that The Creator is One. Had another Gid existed, he should have declared his existence to the creature. Imam Ali (As) said : Had your Lord had a partner, the claimed partner should have sent messengers to people. All the messengers from Allah are the most noble and most truthful persons and all of them brought the message of Tawheed as the biggest fact in the existence.

You also mentioned a question: How to know that Quran is really from Allah?

Answer: The miracles in Quran prove with no doubt that Quran can never be from human source. Quran challenged the enemies who claimed that it is not from Allah, to brig any book like Quran using the help of every human and Jinn ( Say: If all human beings and all the Jinn join all their efforts to bring like this Quran, they will never bring like it, even if all of them joined their efforts)(Sura 17, Verse 88). When they failed, Quran challenged them to bring ten chapters similar to Quranic chapters which are 114 chapters. (They claim that Quran was created by you, Say: Bring you ten created chapters like Quran and call who so ever you can to help you other than Allah if you are truthful) (Sura Hood, verse 13).  When they failed to do that again, Quran challenged them to bring just one chapter like Quranic chapters (If you are doubt about what We revealed on Our servant, then bring one chapter like it and call all you supporters besides Allah if you are truthful.) They again failed. This itself is an evidence that Quran is above the abilities of humans and Jinns and it is from Allah.

Scientific miracles in Quran also prove that it is from Allah. You can search in the internet (scientific miracles in Quran).

These questions can be from Satan to disturb you but you should worry but get the answer from authentic scholars.

Wassalam.

By making us in pairs, the Qur'an is saying that we are pair-able, not that we are specifically created for one other person.

Some people marry many times, some marry none, the Prophet had quite a few wives, so it isn't appropriate to say there is a single pair that is written.

Predestination and free will is a blurry area. Perhaps sometimes marriage is predestined and sometimes it isn't.

In any case, it is wrong to say that it is wholly written because there is at least the appearance of free will when we choose to marry someone or not to marry someone.

Sometimes the argument that marriage is predestined is used to justify other wrongs such as cultural taboos on marriage or wrong reasons for rejecting someone.

Also, our understanding of destiny is that there are two types of destiny, things that are absolutely fixed and things that are changeable. So even if we are destined to marry someone, we don't know for sure whether this is fixed or changeable. Allah, as the all-powerful, has the option to change destiny in any way. Prayer is said to change destiny.

Plus it is always good manners to pray to Allah and acknowledge Allah as the source of all things.

So it is always good to pray!

Ignorance can be unavoidable and can be avoidable. Unavoidable ignorance is of those who have to access to knowledge like those who live and die in far away forests or remote areas with out any access to learning or asking knowledgeable persons. Unavoidable ignorance  is not entitled to punishment because it was imposed on the ignorant and he had no choice.
Avoidable ignorance is a result of laziness or not caring to gain knowledge. Such ignorance is not pardoned. The narration states that sinful person will told on the Day of Judgement : Why did you fail to do good? He replies: I did not know. He will told: Why did you fail to learn? Then he will be punished.

'This means that gaining compulsory knowledge is also compulsory and those who were able to gain it,byte they opt to ignore or don't care for gaining the compulsory knowledge are responsible about their ignorance, unlike those ignorant who had no access at all to knowledge.

Some people say it is because Allah had created the jinn first, and the angels had seen the jinn fighting so knew that a new species with free will would also fight.

Some say that there were other humanoids (nasnas), and they had fought, and so they deduced from this that a new species with free will would also fight.

These two views are reinforced by a narration from Imam al-Sadiq (A) in which he says that the angels could not have known that humans would cause bloodshed if they hadn't seen the precedent of earlier creatures on earth.

Some simply say that they understood this from looking at human nature, or by looking at the nature of life on earth and the challenges of living as an earth-based being (for instance, competition for food, water, reproduction, and land).

Since the earth (dunya) is considered the basest or lowest level of creation, vis-a-vis the heavenly realms, perhaps it also didn't make sense to instill Allah's vicegerency in an earthling.

Maybe there are other reasons too which relate to the nature of the angels and their existence outside of the earthly realm which would give them access to knowledge or a perspective that human beings generally lack.
