Employment is a relationship between two parties, usually based on a contract where work is paid for, where one party, which may be a corporation, for profit, not-for-profit organization, co-operative or other entity is the employer and the other is the employee. Employees work in return for payment, which may be in the form of an hourly wage, by piecework or an annual salary, depending on the type of work an employee does or which sector they are working in. Employees in some fields or sectors may receive gratuities, bonus payment or stock options.
It is allowed for every Muslim to serve his country in any field which does not do injustice on others. Your country's interest should be in the interest of people and should not support the aggressors who might be friendly with some of your political leaders. You as a Muslim are obliged to serve peaceful people in your country and every where, and never support injustice. Our case as Muslims is the justice for all human beings and even for everything. Justice for people of Palestine for example, might not be an aim for many western politicians, but we must do everything possible in peaceful and legal way to support justice. Muslim officer must be an ethical officer and not just a blind officer.
Working in interest in not permissible in Islam, but banking jobs include trade, investments, import and export etc which are permissible. If your husband works only in interest and nothing else, then his work is fully unlawful and his income is unlawful, but if he works in interest and other lawful jobs, then his income include lawful money from which you can utilize.
A woman needs her husband's consent for going out of the house but she can acquire and ensure these rights that are mentioned in the question as a stipulation or a condition during the contract, so she can ask for the right of studies and working.
Even if she has not and the stubborn husband is not going to let her go out, she can still continue her studies online and even work online because it doesn't need going out.
It is not allowed for any Muslim female to wear any type or any degree of makeup in front of non Mahram men . If your employers force you to put red lipstick or any type of make up in front of men, then you must avoid that even if you have to leave the job if they insist on forcing you to do that, because it is against the teachings of Quran (Tell the believing women to lower their gaze and protect themselves (from sinful sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except what is apparent .(Sura 24, Verse 31).
It is not allowed to design or make websites or any other media which contain unlawful contents. Money earned from unlawful work is also unlawful and you are not permitted to use it. You must leave such job which requires you to take part in unlawful work. Your income must be completely lawful.
However, you should be certain that you are comfortable with this because you and your children will live with it. Not only does a musician have to practice (and sometimes record) at home, but children often inherit musical talent and interests. So it is something you should look into your heart and see if it is the right future for you (or whoever is thinking of getting married).
Also, if you don't respect or agree with your husband's work, it might cause conflict between you two.
It is an obligation for a woman to live where her husband has decided unless she has mentioned in the conditions of the marriage contract that the place of residence is up to her.
And a woman can not leave the house without her husband's permission.
So if the husband is ok with all this situation then it's ok for her
I tend to smile, put my hand to my chest, and say 'Sorry, I don't shake.' By placing your hand on your chest, you are offering an alternative way of greeting, which makes greeting less awkward. Another method is to get a sympathetic colleague - if you have one - to inform people ahead of meeting you that you don't shake hands with the opposite gender.
Firstly one should know that Allah The Exalted has promised sustenance for those who marry:
"If they be poor, Allah will enrich them of His bounty. Allah is of ample means, Aware." Quran - 24:32
This doesn't however mean that one shouldn't make an effort to seek a halal income for themselves. Realistically in a capitalistic society, one should seek an income in order for them to maintain themselves and their family. Having an income is a means to achieve marriage but it doesn't mean that these things won't come after marriage. There are many who I know that were students with nothing yet, rizq came to them from places they could never imagine after marriage.
Alternatively one can get to know a future spouse in a halal way or even have a halal engagement (doing a type of marriage contract to make each other mahram) before moving in with each other. This way, one can prepare the necessary things before living together and prepare for marriage.
Having someone is also better for one's mental state because even if one didn't live with their spouse straight away, just knowing they have someone will make them less likely to sin as compared to someone who is single and worried about how to find a spouse.
Regarding parents, one may respectfully acknowledge their advice but it isn't obligatory to follow this advice if it wouldn't be in the best benefit of a believer. A person knows whether marriage would be obligatory upon them and whether it would help their spiritual and physiological state. Parents cannot always determine this.
May Allah give you success
It is the responsibility upon the husband to provide for his wife and his family. Even if a woman works and earns more money than her husband, she would not be obliged to give any of it to him. However, a mutual agreement between the husband and wife is allowed in Islam. So if the wife has chosen to work and share her earnings with her husband while he looks for a job, then this would be allowed. We find that roles may switch in this day and age where a woman may work and the husband may take up house and child duties.
The husband should know that it isn’t obligatory for his wife to work and if he forced this responsibility upon her, then he has neglected his martial duties and violated her rights. A woman may choose to work as long as the Islamic conditions are fulfilled.
May Allah grant you success.
It depends on the nature of their business activities.
If they work in usury business or any unlawful business, it wll be unlawful to work for them, but if their activities are away from usury and away from any Haraam (unlawful) business, then it wil permissible to work for them.
If you are sure that any emails contains material that is not
allowed in Islam, then it will not be allowed to process or forward
the same to others.
