Sayed Mohammad Mahdi Al Modarresi undertook his religious education in the Islamic Seminary in Damascus, Syria, and in the Islamic Seminary of Qum, Iran. He also undertook some of his academic education in the United States of America. Sayed Al Modarresi comes from a prominent family known for its many scholars. He is a well-known speaker, renowned for his Arabic majalis and his unique English speeches, and has authored several books both in Arabic and English.
