Direct communication with potential spouse must remain within the frame of Shariah as both of you are still Non Mahram to each other. Flirting or flirtation with a potential spouse remains Haraam till both of you enter in an Islamic contract Aqd which allows that. Chatting should never contain any emotional content before having a valid Aqd between you. If both if you want to meet, it should be in the presence of another person to avoid the Khalwah (private meeting) which is not permissible with out a valid Aqd.

As a Muslim man, is it permissible for me to assist my adult adopted sister with washing while she is unclothed, if no female caregivers are available and the care is necessary?

Your adopted sister is not your real sister, so, you are not allowed to look at her unclothed. Hijab rules apply on you and her .

Emergency has got its own exceptions just like emergency rules to save life of any other female who is non Mahram to you.

You as a Muslim female are allowed to work to earn livelihood as far as you keep you full Hijab and protect your modesty from non Mahram men.

A believer must avoid free mix-gatherings, for whatever reason it may be, and as close as the non-mahrams may be. We must try to promote segregated wedding programs, and not allow ourselves to participate in haram gatherings.

This works for both genders as well. A man should not attend, and a woman should not attend as well.

It is by far better for weddings to be segregated, so that the women can dress as they wish, without hijab or any restrictions.

If someone is forced to be there, like the person being a primary family member, then they go just for the social obligation they have, limit it to that, dressed Islamically, and leave.

Are my spouse's grand-uncles and great-grand-uncles Mahram to me after marriage and are a woman’s grand uncles Mahram for her? Please mention any differing opinions among our Marajeh if there are any.

As the real uncles are Mahrams, great grand uncles are Mahram as well.

Is it permissible to joke with Mahrams in a public setting, provided there is no concern of wrongdoing and the jokes remain appropriate?

Mahrams are those men who can see you with out Hijab like your husband, father, son, uncles, son in law, father in law etc.

Non Mahram are those men who are not allowed to see you with out Hijab.

Talking to Non Mahram should be limited to necessary matters and not to involve unnecessary talking or jokes. Even if you have no bad intention in your heart, but you can not know what is in the heart of the other non Mahram person when you joke with them.

We have in a Hadeeth from the Prophet (SAWA) that unnecessary talks with non Mahram harms your heart and makes it like dead تميت القلب.

Can a woman disclose her menstrual cycle to a non-Mahram, such as her future husband, without causing any wrongful thoughts in his mind?

If there is a sensible reason why she informs a non-mahram when she is in her cycle, or when it starts/finishes, then there is no shar'i problem with that.

Muslim women usually conceal this information, because it is something private, and also out of modesty, but there could be times where she will need to disclose it, and there would be no issue with that.

Yes, it is allowed for her to perform Umrah as far as she has a safe company with her.

Yes, there is no shar'i problem with having nose surgery for cosmetic reasons, even if it would beautify you, as long as it does not entail any other haram.
