Islam guides us to chose good names for our children and it keeps naming our children with good names as one of our responsibilities towards our children. The Hadeeth states: It is from the rights of the child on his or her father is to name him or her after a good name (من حق الولد على الوالد أن يحسن تسميته)،

Bad name can be changed to a good one.

'We don't claim that names definitely determine the personality and character despite that fact that good names can encourage good personality, but it is not binding nor compulsory.

Friendship is always good as far as you protect yourself from bad influence which can come through mixing with people who don't share your faith and religion. If you are sure that friendship with non- believers will not influence your thoughts, faith and practice, then it will be allowed. But you must be alerted and very careful as thousands before you have suffered heavy damages due to friendship with non believers which made them look at life like non believers and behave like their friends.

'Real believer is supposed to be strong enough in his faith and religion, that he can influence the non -believers and make them understand the truth and follow it.

'This is a positive friendship which maintains your faith and religion and helps non believers to benefit from you. Negative friendship is the friendship which makes you lose anything from your faith, religion and practice..

Zina (fornication) is a major sin and the punishment of majors sins is hellfire if the sinners does not repent and sincerely seek forgiveness. Allah says in Quran: And come not near Zia, a transgression and an evil way. Sura Al-Israr', verse 32.

Zina is mentioned along with Shirk, and killing as most dangerous sins which must be avoided by the servants of Allah ( Sura Al-Forman, verse 68).

Islam teaches pardon and forgiving not revenge. We are been always encouraged to forgive the mistakes of other and forget as far as they are not enmities of Allah. Even those non Muslims of Quraish who did lot of crimes against the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) were been pardoned by him when he concord Makkah and he never took revenge from them.

Allah (SWT) Has Cursed in Quran many types of criminals and we follow Quran and the Prophet (SAWA) and curse the enemies of Allah and the Prophet (SAWA). We don't curse for personal matter or reason but curse enemies of religion.

Thank you for your question. According to the school of Ahl al-Bayt (as) Allah is Just and so He will only take people to account to the extent that is fair. If someone didn't have the ability in this life to learn and understand about Islam through no fault of their own they will not be judged like someone who knew about the truth of Islam and covered that truth up. This principle holds in all times and places including the modern world. So they would not be condemned to hell.

May you always be successful

Listening to songs is not allowed in Islam. We have many authentic Prophetic Hadeeths that listening to songs creates hypocrisy in the heart like water growing a seed. No song is allowed unless it is just a Nasheed or certain recitation which can never be called a song by public.

There are different types of depression. Some of the depression cases can be avoided or treated by remembering Allah and sincerely seeking His Help. Some depression cases are out of control and can not be treated but by medical experts. Such uncontrolled depression is an illness like other uncontrolled illnesses. If the person loses control and goes out of his senses, then he will be considered behaving out of his senses. Allah only Knows the real feelings and status of the senses of people. Allah Judges people and we are not entitled to judge others. We just pray for the well-being of depressed people and for the forgiveness of late believers.
