When your mind gets distracted from your Prayers, it does not invalidate your Prayer though it is not the good situation of Prayers.

Your Prayers are valid as far as your Wudhu is valid and your body and clothes are Tahir (pure) and you perform all the obligatory acts of Salah.

It is very good to keep your mind in your Prayers but if your mind gets distracted, your Salah remains valid.

Sin . Time . Repentance (Tawbah)

Is it considered nifaq (hypocrisy) if I repent then commit the sin then repent again , although each time I repent I dont want to repeat it but I am in process of leaving it?

If you really repent and decide not to do it again, then you feel weak and commit the sin again, it does not mean Nifaaq (hypocrisy).

You need to strengthen your will power and your remembering and fearing Good, to be able to avoid the sin.

In this case, it is sinful. If they are all gossiping about you, try to understand why, and seek advice regarding the issues they are raising, to see if they genuinely have a point, and if you should try to look at their perspective. As for spying and violating someone else's privacy, this is haram.

Depression . Sin . Repentance (Tawbah)

I have committed sins, with intention to repent, but now I feel remorse and confusion about whether my Tawba is accepted. I am experiencing great depression. Can you clarify if my true Tawba is accepted?

Allah (SWT) Says in Quran: Say: O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves ( by committing evil deeds) never despai if the Mercy of Allah, verily, Allah Forgives all sins, Truly He is Oft Foegiving, Most Merciful. Sura 39, verse 53.

If you really repent and decide not to sin again, Allah is The Opt Forgiving, The Most Merciful.

It is for you to save yourself if you are serious about yourself.

Is it sinful if my parents physically hurt me or insult me over my choice in marriage?

It is obviously sinful for any one to physically hurt or insult other person over his or her choice in marriage. If your choice in marriage was not against Islamic rules, no one is allowed to object or insult you. Your parents want you to be safe and happy, and you need to understand the reasons behind their stand against your choice. You should never disrespect your parents nor reply them back. If you are sure that they are been misinformed about your choice, you should clarify the facts for them.

You need to always be very polite with your parents and keep on praying for them.

Does Allah SWT ever stop individuals from engaging in specific sins such as Zina, drug use, or Haram business practices?

Allah (SWT) Helps His sincere servants to avoid damaging themselves when they are sincerely seeking His help. Nevertheless, it does not mean that He stops every sinner or criminal. Human beings were granted intellect which guides them to the right as well as the messengers who guided people to the right path and warned them from the wrong ways. Every human being is responsible of his own deeds. Allah (SWT) Helps those who want to do good, and even protect sincere servants from falling in sinful acts under certain circumstances, but Allah Has granted human beings the option to decide their their own deeds with out any pressure from Him and Promised to reward the good deeds and punish the criminals in their own evil deeds.

Sometimes, either for that person's sake, for the sake of someone else (such as a victim), or for reasons that we do not know about. However, not always. The line between free will and fate can be blurry.

Is it prohibited to touch the word "God" without being in Wudhu since it can appear in notes and magazines? If that is the case, can we discard such items, or would that be considered sinful?

Yes, touching the name of God in any language with out Wudhu must be avoided.

Makruh . Marriage . Sin

Is remaining unmarried while maintaining chastity, while being Makruh, considered sinful and is a person who chooses this path subject to punishment?

It is not something that causes punishment in the hereafter, but often people are happier or more stable in life when they get married (even if it has its own challenges!).

If you are young and don't have an obvious reason not to get married, if an opportunity that feels right comes up, it's nice to at least try to explore the possibility of getting married, so you don't look back and feel like you missed out on something. But everyone has their own path in life and sometimes one path is not for everyone.

Is it allowed to purchase expensive items, such as an iPhone, if I can afford them, or would this be viewed by Allah as wasteful spending leading to disapproval?

Buying an item which you need in your day to day work or life is allowed even if it was expensive as far as you can afford it from your lawful income.

Is a Muslim woman considered to have sinned if she lives in an area where Hijab is banned but has no alternative but to remain there?

Muslim woman must perform full Hijab where ever she lives. If Hijab is banned in a country and she needs to go out of her house, she will be then required to move to another place where she can perform her duty in Hijab.

Is it true that marriage is not obligatory and individuals who choose not to marry but remain chaste and focus on their careers will not be considered sinful?

It is makruh to choose to stay single. There are numerous narrations that censure being single, and explain the many benefits of marriage.

The only time marriage would be obligatory is if one falls into sin, and marriage would solve that problem.

One can combine between marriage and focus on career as well.
