Sin

In a religious context, sin is an act of transgression against divine law. In Islamic ethics, Muslims see sin as anything that goes against the commands of Allah (God).

It is a wrong translation. All the Prophets are infallible and no Prophet committed any type of sin. Some acts from the prophets are not accepted by some people and called by some as sinful acts but it is in fact never sinful acts according to Allah.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Inshallah it improves soon, by the grace of Allah.

As Shaykh Zoheir said, you can do wudu from a bottle of water. Perhaps you can step out of the car for prayer if it is safe.

If you have a concern about being seen without hijab, just do your best to preserve your modesty as wudhu can essentially be done from under a cloth.

The larger tahara can also be done with a reasonably small amount of water (rather than requiring an actual shower), but for this, modesty is more important of course. I guess you and your husband will have arranged somewhere or some way to wash up.

If you absolutely cannot perform wudhu or ghusl due to modesty reasons, you ca do tayammum.

Thank you for your question. The water that is needed to perform wudu does not have to be connected to a source and so it is fine to perform wudu using water from a bottle or container. Wudu can easily be performed with three handfuls of water. Missing prayers is very harmful to a persons wellbeing in this world and the next and is a great sin.

May you always be successful

It is not permissible for us as Muslims to promote any unlawful (Haraam) item e.g. alcohol, pork, etc.

You should keep your website clean from unlawful items.

Seeking forgiveness is compulsory to avoid the dangerous consequences of the sin. Beside its necessity to repair the damage of the sin, it gives a feeling of relief and comfort to the sinner because it is part of remembering Allah which is the only source of peace of mind (Sura 13, Verse 28).

Nevertheless, it does not mean definitely that Allah (SWT) Has forgiven the sin. Allah forgives our sins if we sincerely seek forgiveness and decide not to do it again, and give back the rights of others, but He knows when?

We need always to remember our previous sinful acts and keep on seeking forgiveness.

Allah is The Most Merciful, The Forgiver. Those who repent their sins and sincerely seek forgiveness with giving back the rights of others and firm decision not to commit the sin again have been promised by Allah in Quran: Say, O My servants who have transgressed  against themselves (by sinning), Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, Verily, Allah forgives all sins, Truly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Sura 39, Verse 53).

The Hadeeth says: The repenting believer from his sin is like a person with out sin. التائب من الذنب كمن لا ذنب له.

Repenting and sincerely seeking forgiveness and fulfilling the missed rights have definite effect in our life and spirituality.

No one will be responsible about the bad deeds of others unless he agrees with the sinner. Many well known sinners had very pious children and their pious children never been included in the curse on their parents. Allah (SWT) says in Quran ( That No one shall bear the burden of another) Sura 53, Verse 38.

If your parents are anti-vaccination, or against the Covid vaccine specifically, and they do not wish to take the vaccination due to a medical condition, which you also suffer from, and out of fear of you getting worse, then you must consult with a specialist and see what they recommend.

If your parents are against Covid for any other reason, and not due to health difficulties you suffer from, then it would not be a sin if you take the vaccine without their knowledge. However, if they have specifically said to you that they will, for example, disown you if you get it, etc, then I would suggest you try to rationalise with them to avoid problems.

With prayers for your success.

Bismillah,

Asalamu alaykom,

In regard to your husband, have you noticed that there is any particular reason why he has become non practicing? Is there any way you could possibly influence him or take him to someone that can?

Divorce should be a last resort and as long as he says that he is still Muslim, your marriage would be valid. Also there is no sin upon you for the sins of your spouse. If however you exhaust all avenues and you find that such a marriage is lowering your faith as well, then you need to reevaluate whether this will be best for you in the long term.

At the same time remember, one’s faith can go up and down so try to remain patient as this could be a test. Try to help you husband regain his faith and make constant dua for him.

May Allah grant you success

It is not a sin for a couple to stay married and their marriage be loveless. Marriage is one thing, and love is another. However, a loveless marriage and a cold relationship is not ideal at all. It does affect both sides, and the household as well. Both husband and wife my strive to do something about their feelings towards each other and find ways of re-igniting their love towards each other. It is not healthy at all for them to stay loveless, and it will create a lot of toxicity between them.

In any case, from a fiqhi perspective, if the wife chooses to stay in the relationship under such circumstances, it is not a sin.

And Allah knows best.
