Black color was the color of the flag of the Prophet of Islam and the color of his turban according to many narrations.
The green color was also associated with Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Till now, the scholars from the grant children of Ahlul Bayt known as Sadat have a black turban or green.
Wassalam.
