وقال العلامة البدخشاني: وفي رواية أخرى عند ابن حبان والحاكم والحافظ أبي بشير إسماعيل بن عبد الله الاصبهاني المشهور بسمويه، ‏عن ابن عباس عن بريدة بلفظ: يا بريدة ألست أولى بالمؤمنين من أنفسهم؟ من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه.‏
