[al-Ghadir fi al-kitab wa'l-sunnah wa'l-adab, al-Amini, `Abd al-Husayn Ahmad al-Tabrizi al-Najafi, Beirut: Mu'assasat al-A`lami (11 vols), 1414 AH/1994 CE, vol. 1, pp. 179-80 ] إبراهيم بن محمد بن محمد كمال الدين الحنفي المعروف بابن حمزة الحراني الدمشقي المتوفى 1120 ، ترجمه المرادي في سلك الدرر ج 1 ص 22 - 24 وقال : العالم الامام المشهور المحدث النحوي العلامة كان وافر الحرمة مشهورا بالفضل الوافر أحد الاعلام المحدثين والعلماء الجهابذة السيد الشريف الحسيب النسيب ولد في دمشق وبها نشأ ، ثم ذكر مشايخ أخذه وروايته وقال : رأيت بخطه في إجازته أن مشايخه يبلغون ثمانين شيخا ، ثم ذكر تآليفه ووفاته.
