ألحافظ أبوالغنايم محمد بن علي الكوفي النرسي المولود 424 والمتوفى 510 محدث الكوفة، ترجمه الذهبي في تذكرته ج 4 ص 57 ‏وحكى ‏عن إبن طاهر إنه قال: كان النرسي حافظا ثقة متقنا ما رأينا مثله كان يتهجد ويقوم الليل.‏
