The present book is a metaphysical study, dealing with different philosophical arguments for the existence of God, with special reference to the concept of God in the Qur'an. The author believes that the metaphysical teachings of the Qur'an constitute the most important part of the knowledge.
The study is based on the original sources. The author quoted from the different texts to enable the reader to compare the different views. The book is divided into six chapters including introduction. After elaborating the main thrust of his treatise, he embarks upon discussing about the term metaphysics and metaphysical issues with reference to the various philosophical arguments on the existent of God. He proceeds to expound the doctrine of monotheism i.e. Tawhid (unity of God) in the Qur'an. He discusses the issue of the Names and Attributes of God in the Qur'an and other Scriptures.
