It is recommended to pour water on the grave of a deceased immediately after burial as we read in many authentic Hadeeths. It helps the deceased in his grave.

The grave of the believer is a garden from the Paradise. In fact the happiness of the believer starts on his death as we read in Sura Al-Waqi'ah, verse 83 onwards.

Pious servants of Allah are granted gifts from Allah including intercession for believers. These gifts from Allah (SWT) depends in the degree of that servant in front of Allah. We don't talk to the grave but to the pious servant of Allah who is granted an everlasting life as we read in Quran ( Don't think those who were killed in the way of Allah as dead, nay, there are alive but you do not feel)( Sura 3, verse 169).

'Every believer who dies with the love of Ahlul Bayt, die as a Shaheed. This is according to authentic Hadeeths in Shia and Sunni books including Tafseer of Zamajhshari and Tafseer Al-Fakhr Al-Raazi and many other Sunni books.

Yes. They know when we visit their graves and feel happy because of our visiting their graves and reciting Quran and praying for them. They hear us when we talk to them. The Hadeeth says: Talk to the dead people in their graves and raise your voice talking to them and tell them: You went before us and we are following you soon. يا أهل الديار من المؤمنين والمسلمين، أنتم لنا فَرَطٌ وإنّا بِكُم إن شاء الله وشيكاً لاحِقون

It is highly recommended to say when you visit the graves of the Muslims: Peace upon you, O people of Laa Ilaaha Illallah السلام عليكم يا أهل لا إله إلا الله.
