The money which you earn should be for a lawful work which never involve misguiding or harming others. When the work is lawful then the income from it becomes lawful.

What is the Islamic ruling on using money in sports—for example prize money, entry-fee tournaments, and winner-takes-all matches? Which forms are halal and which count as maysir (gambling)?

Any type of gambling is not permissible even in sports.
Prize money taken from the loser for the winner is not allowed.

Prize money donated by the organizers as a gift for the winner is allowed.

Entry fee tournaments is permissible.

Winner-take-all matches should not cause loss to the loser.

Referral Code is understood to be used by the person himself unless the issuers allow otherwise. We are not allowed to use referral code of others with out their permission and the permission of the issuers of the Code.

The first step is to make sure the husband cooperates, so that he does not refrain from granting divorce, as that will make things difficult. Speak to your family, and your local scholar, and follow the procedure for shar'i divorce.

Is it permissible to earn money from online advertisements that may include Haram content, even if I do not have control over or endorse the ads being displayed?

Online advertisements which include sinful content must be avoided. Earning from such advertisements which contain sinful content is not lawful.

Khums . Money . Loan

As a student with 50,000 rupees in savings, of which 35,000 is loaned out and uncertain to be repaid soon, I want to understand if I am required to pay Khums only on the remaining 15,000 rupees or also on the loaned amount?

Loaned amounts do not belong to you as you has borrowed it from others, so, Khums is not obligatory on you for any amount which is not owned by you. Whatever you own on your date of Khums is to be calculated by you in your Khums.

If your helping them is legally and morally accepted, then it will be allowed, but if it can be taken as an immoral or illegal act of cheating, then it must be avoided.

Is it permissible to donate some money to help build a Sunni mosque?

Every Masjid is a house of Allah where Muslims worship Allah in. Helping in building any Masjid is good except places of enemies of Ahlul Bayt (AS) because their Masjids are like Masjid of Dhiraar which was not for Allah but for Shaitan.

We help every Masjid based in Taqwa, and we never help Masjid Dhiraar which is called Masjid but used as a centre against Ahlul Bayt (SS).

If the company is involved in un Islamic (Haraam) activities, it will be not permissible to invest in shares of such company no matter who are the owners, but if the company is dealing with permissible business, then it will be allowed to invest in it.

What is my responsibility if I own stocks that have increased in value or have obtained profits gained from Riba?

Increase in value does not create any problem if the activities of the company are lawful and no Haraam activities are involved like RIBA. If the company deals with RIBA or does any Haraam business, it will be Haraam to buy or keep such shares. Money generated from RIBA or any other Haraam activities is unlawful to use in any way even in charity. It must be given to the Marje; of Taqleed to spend it on deserving cases or seek his permission to give it in charity.
