I have not reached to any authentic narration in this regard in our main books of Hadeeth. I have consulted leading scholars in Hadeeth and their reply was negative as well. Famous Sunni Shaikhs like Al-Albani deny the authenticity of such narration.

Imam Ali (A.S.) led the funeral prayer of the Prophet Muhammad Peace and Salutation Upon Him and His Progeny. It is to be noted that many famous persons did not attend the funeral of the Prophet because they were busy in the conspiracy of Saqeefah which was been done by the opponents of Imam Ali (A.S.) who was busy in the funeral while Saqeefah group wanted to grab away his rights in leading the Ummah which was repeatedly declared by the Prophet (Peace and Salutation be Upon Him and His Holy Progeny).

1.The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) was aware the he is about to leave this world, so, he tried his best to secure the future of Islam and Muslims after his departure by declaring his successors in front of Muslims, which he did while returning from his farewell Hajj in the most authentic Hadeeth of Al-Ghadeer in which he clearly announced ( For whom so ever I am the Master, Ali is his Master من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه

2.This Hadeeth has been narrated by biggest number of authentic companions.

'The Prophet (SAWA) was aware about some persons who did not like the leadership of Ali after the Prophet,v so, he ordered them to leave Madinah and join the army if Usamah. He cursed those who disobey his order and stay back in Madinah. Many of them returned back again this orders despite his statement (لعن الله من تخلف عن جيش أسامة).

3. When the Prophet saw them back in Madinah, he ordered them to let him write his last will, which should protect the Ummah from going astray. The disobeyed him and refused to let him write his last will. This is mentioned in Saheeh Al-Bukhari and other main Sunni books.

4. When the Prophet (SAWA) passed away, some companions went to Saqeefa leaving the Prophet unbarried and made their arrangements with the hypocrites to take over the rule misusing that Ali (AS) and pious companions were busy is preparing the funeral of the Prophet.

5. Imam Ali (AS) and all Ahlul Bayt (AS) rejected Saqeefa rulers and never gave allegiance to them, which lead Saqeefa rulers attack the house of Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet and threaten to burn it in its people as you can read in Tareekh Al-Tabari and many other Sunni books.

'These are few facts from many other facts which changed the history of many Muslims from following the Prophetic Islam to following Saqeefa rulers.

Shia Muslims follow the authentic narrations from Ahlul Bayt (AS) in every matter, while Sunni Muslims follow narrations from other than Ahlul Bayt (AS) like Abu Huraira, Ayisha, etc.

The most authentic narrations from the Progeny of the Prophet (SAWA) state his birth date as 17th of Rabi'ul Awaal.

'Sunni books have different birth dates which shows that Sunnis themselves don't have one date although many of them take 12th Rabi'ul Awwal as the birth day and death date of the Prophet (SAWA).

Obviously, no one knows the birth date and death day more than the family members, that us why we, Shia Muslims follow Ahlul Bayt (AS) in this matter and every matter.

Such claims are not new, but go back to more than fourteen centuries when Quran was revealed in the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and his enemies refused to believe. The reply is in the Quran itself when Allah (SWT) asked them to bring a book like Quran even by taking help from all their associates from humans and Jinns. They failed to bring like it. Allah asked them to bring ten chapters like Quranic chapters to prove that Quran is man made. They failed to do so. Then Allah asked them to bring just one Syrah (Chapter) like Quranic chapters which are 114, but they again failed to do so. This itself proved that Quranic can never be from humans but from The Creator, Allah.

‘All the scholars who read Quran, admitted that it is a Miracle in every field. Even non Muslim scholars admitted this fact. Miracles of Quran are attracting millions of truth seekers to the Truth of Islam.

Allah Has granted the Prophet Muhammad every knowledge which he did not know as we read in Quran ( And He Has Taught you every knowledge which you did not know) Sura 4, Verse 113.

The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) was never unlettered but for the benefit of the message of Islam, he did not practice reading and writing in front of people  to avoid giving a chance to the enmities of Islam to accuse him copying from previous religious books.(Sura Al-Ankabout, verse 48).
