Coronaviruses

Coronaviruses are a group of related viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that can be mild, such as some cases of the common cold (among other possible causes, predominantly rhinoviruses), and others that can be lethal, such as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19. Symptoms in other species vary: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea.

If your parents are anti-vaccination, or against the Covid vaccine specifically, and they do not wish to take the vaccination due to a medical condition, which you also suffer from, and out of fear of you getting worse, then you must consult with a specialist and see what they recommend.

If your parents are against Covid for any other reason, and not due to health difficulties you suffer from, then it would not be a sin if you take the vaccine without their knowledge. However, if they have specifically said to you that they will, for example, disown you if you get it, etc, then I would suggest you try to rationalise with them to avoid problems.

With prayers for your success.

It is permissible to use any type of hand wash or ointment etc even if it contains Najis item, provided that you wash your hands before performing Wudhu and Namaz in case you are definitely sure that it does contain Najis material. If you are not sure that it contains Najis material, then you can take it as Taahir.

This narration المطعون شهيد is found in Sunni books of Hadeeth ( Riyadh al-Saliheen 1:1353 from Abu Huraira) but I did not find it in our authentic books of Hadeeth. It has been mentioned in few of our books of Fiqh but the meaning of مطعون is not a victim of plague but a stabbed person. مطعون can be from طاعون plague and can be from طعن which means stabbing. The meaning of the narration if it was authentic can be a victim of plague or a stabbed to death.

If it is an authentic, it does not mean a real martyr who should not be given Ghusl, but it means the reward which he gets because he was a victim.

Answers should be given with certain knowledge, and no one here (as far as I know!) has certain knowledge about everything that is happening outside of our experience or eyes.

Also, no one can give certain knowledge about the long-term effects of a new substance or medication, even if there is no ill intent, until time passes and we come to understand the complexity of effects. Certainly there are many substances that were originally thought to be safe and now we know they are dangerous.

So, basically, no one here can give a full answer to "is it safe".

However, if you are unsure about whether or not you should receive a vaccine, I suggest (a) talking to researchers or health professionals about it, (b) considering your situation and people around you (for instance, are you in a high-risk profession or are people in your household particularly vulnerable) and making the best decision, and (c) if that does not work, do istikahra.

No doubt, every suffering and hardship we face has a reason behind it which can be warning us from bad deeds. COVID-19 is no exception. The whole world is suffering from different types of injustice and sinful acts committed by millions of people and governments. Nothing is making them leave injustice and wrong deeds. Bad deeds are increasing through the social and e media. Billions of Dollars are been wasted on weapons while millions of human beings are not finding enough food and medicine. Injustice can never go with out punishment or at least warning before the major punishment. It is a warning to every single and all human beings and a warning to the rulers who do injustice.

May Allah protect us from sinful acts and save us from the punishment.

Yes she can. There is no condition in Adhan and Iqaamah to be given by the father only or any man. Women including the mother can do it as well.

'Giving the name to the child should not ignore the father's wish.

Salaamun alaikum
May Allah (swt) bless his soul and raise him with Muhammad and his Ahlulbait (a.s).
It is recorded in Fiqhi books like Urwatul Wuthqa that if one is buried without Ghusl, it is obligatory that he/she must be exhumed and the Ghusl is performed on their bodies and then get buried again GIVEN that 1) the corpse is not decayed and 2) the act of exhumation is possible and also 3) the fact that the whole process is not considered a disrespectful act to the buried person.

There's no need for a wood chamber if you mean a coffin by that.

If the circumstances above are not possible at all then do not worry, Allah (swt) judges us according to our actions and let's hope that your father's actions be sufficient for getting Allah's Mercy. And you as his children can give charity and recite Quran and do Mustahab acts and gift the reward to his soul and it is very much recommended as the duty of children towards their parents!

These rituals are the duties of the alive people around the dead!!!
