Muslims

Muslims (Arabic: مُسلِم‎) are people who follow or practice Islam, a monotheistic Abrahamic religion. Muslims consider the Quran, their holy book, to be the verbatim word of God as revealed to the Islamic prophet and messenger Muhammad, may peace be upon him and his family. Muslims also generally follow the teachings and practices of Muhammad (sunnah). Those who obtain these teachings primarily from his Companions (sahaba) are called Sunni, and those who take them from his family (ahl al-bayt) are called the Shi'a.

The best age is in the 'hands' of Allah - He will call us to His house when it is the best time for each of us.

Hajj becomes obligatory (Wajib) on a Muslim as soon as s/he becomes baligh and is able financially, physically, and time-wise and so should be performed in that year, no matter what the age is.

Bismihi ta'ala,

The answer to this question is circumstantial, based on the view of your Marja' Taqleed regarding whether you are able to dispose of Sahm al-Saadah without specific authorisation.

However, in general if the lady is a Seyyidah, a Shi'iyah, and needy, then it would be permissible to give Sahm al-Saadah to her.

It would be best that you refer to the fatwa of your Marja' Taqleed for this.

And Allah knows best.

The significance of marriage is to the extent that it is said that one will save half of his/her religion by getting married. It means that the potentiality of getting involved with sexual sins decreases by getting married.
As for the second part of your question, according to the popular viewpoint of Maraje' a Muslim man can marry an ahlul kitab i.e. Christian, Jew or Zoroastrian woman in temporary marriage only and not vice versa.

Thank you for your question. Humans are created to reach their perfection as beings that mirror God's most beautiful Names. The path to that perfection is the effacement of the ego by becoming servants of God and the method to reach this goal is worshipping God. Hence when God says that he didn't create humans or jinn except to worship him, it is in terms of the method to reach their perfection and does not imply that He is needful of worship in any way.

May you always be successful.

Salaam alaykum

Thank you for the interesting question!

As you know, there are a number of differences between the Qur'anic and Biblical stories of similar people. Muslims and those who believe in a literal interpretation of the Old Testament will have to agree to disagree until the day comes when the truth is made clear!

In this case, it is more complicated because it is not 100% clear that Talut is the same person as Saul because they have different names.

There is a good discussion of the story in the relevant section of The Study Quran, ed. S. H. Nasr. Also here are some hadith on the subject. https://www.al-islam.org/hayat-al-qulub-vol-1-allamah-muhammad-baqir-al-majlisi/account-ishmaeil-talut-and-jalut

Best wishes

The revelation (wahy) is the communication of Allah to His prophets. In particular, the Qur'an is the unaltered word of Allah descended to His last Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, as a reminder and a guidance for mankind. The word of Allah is very important for us because it is His message to His servants. Also, through revelation Allah gives His commands and prohibitions. Human intellect may understand general instructions (like the importance of prayer, the duty of respecting the elders, etc...) but it is not able to grasp all the particulars of the path leading human being to salvation. Therefore he needs a revelation. For example, the intellect cannot tell us the details about prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, etc. and we need the revelation to know them. The words of Allah are a continuous guidance for human beings: the recitation and memorization of the holy Qur'an guide the heart of believers towards awareness, piety, goodness, success in this world and Hereafter. Indeed there are too many benefits derived from the revelation of Allah, "and if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them" (16:18).

With prayers for your success.
