Should You Share Every Blessing With Others?

There are those who think and assume that if they want to be thankful for a blessing of Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, that they have to go and share it with everyone else on earth. There are many blessings that Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, grants to you. You are supposed to keep it between yourself and Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala. Some of these people, they will have evil intentions. Jealousy, brothers and sisters, is a real thing.

Why are you putting every single blessing out there for other people to see? Then there are many in our communities, families, relatives, society who don't have evil intentions, necessarily, but they are deprived of that blessing that you have. You need to be a little bit more sensitive. You need to be a little bit more considerate. People struggle in their lives.

What do you think it does to the heart of your brother, sister, relative, friend, whoever it might be who is struggling? They don't have evil intentions. They are struggling. Yes. If you find your close friends who have the capacity, they want the best for you, no problem, you share it with them.

And I'm not saying it is haram, it is this. No, it is not. We say, well, you shouldn't be insecure. Yes. He shouldn't be secure, and you shouldn't keep going going down that road of getting that insecurity inflamed within him or her. This society, this culture we live in, has completely missed the mark on this.
