Introduction

The cultural assault rests on two bases: first, humiliating the original culture. and second. Encouraging the successor foreign culture. Through this culture withdrawal and disgracing the genuine culture, a society may feel to be despised in comparison with the others, heedless of its own culture and its peerless containments of treasures, begging the strangers and offering its civilization very cheap.

There were many requests through letters or phone calls, that had reached Ansariyan Publications from the dearest readers in which they were all asking for books and leaflets that explain the biography of 'Ulama and well-known scholars who got a proceeding rank in the knowledge and reasoning fields.

Charity

Introduction

Sadaqa (charity) is highly recommended for shielding oneself from calamities, epidemics, disasters, and losses. Giving charity in the morning protects one from the misfortunes of the day and giving charity in the evening protects one from calamities of the night. Fulfilling requests of others, i.e., giving way on a road, doing favours to others is also considered to be a kind of charity.

1. Too Late

Abu Basir A’asha was one of the great poets of the pre-Islamic era. One of his poems known as Lamiyya is classified among the ten great epics of Arabia. In his famous eulogy of the Holy Prophet (S) says:

Whenever you halt to rest at the door of the son of Hashim, You feel relaxed, and are blessed with his magnanimity .... From him come charity you cannot miss, and the benefit. And what yon gain today, is not refused tomorrow ...
