Yes it is permissible to help the pet if the pet is in sever pain when there is no other to help it but euthanasia.

Cremating dead animal body is permissible unlike cremating human dead body which is absolutely Haraam (forbidden). Keeping the ashes of the dead animal is permissible. I advice you to think about any real benefits you can get from any action you do.

Pet at home should not cause harm to your family or friends who enter your house or scare them. It is Haraam to cause harm or scare your family, friends and others.

This must be done by the decision of a vet or a professional, which means someone qualified should be consulted and should deal with it. Also, whatever is done should be done in a humane way, with a correct procedure and within legal perimeters. 

Otherwise, it could be haram.

Burying dead animals is the usual practice since beginning to save the environment. Cremating dead body of animals is permitted according to leading Islamic scholars.

It is, religiously, not recommended to keep a dog indoors, but you are allowed to keep one. However, if you have a dog inside, you should be careful to observe the laws of taharah and najasah, especially regarding prayer (salat).

Yes it is permissible to have a dog as a pet but you must be careful as it is an impure animal (Najis) like pig and you should not let it make your clothes or plates or home items impure (Najis).

If you want to keep a dog as a pet, keeping a dog in your garden to guard your house or garden is allowed as well, and it has no risk of making your home items as impure.

Animals will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement and many animals will be Paradise like the Boraaq of the Prophet Mohammad (SAWA), the Camel-she of prophet Saleh (AS), the dog of the people of the Cave etc.

All good desires of the believers will be fulfilled in Paradise. If having that pet in Paradise is good for the believer, he/she will get it there. If having it in the Paradise is not good, the believer will not desire to have it.

It is not obligatory to feed our pets Halal meat or food, though it is better to do so if we can, but it is not Haraam to feed our pets non Halal food. Non Halal food is Haraam (not allowed) forus but not Haraam on animals.
