"Qunut" is a supplication type of prayer made while standing in Islam. For example, it is sunnah (recommended) to supplicate with qunut in the witr prayer during the entire year.

Yes, Tahajjud Prayer will be valid. Reciting Al-'Afwavin the Qunoot of Witr prayer is recommended and not obligatory.

Seeking your needs from Allah (SWT) in your own language is permissible during Qunout after reciting any Du;a in Arabic for Qunout. Du'a of Qomout should involve Arabic part then rest can be in any language.

Yes, Qunout is always recommended in every Salah whether obligatory (Wajib) or Mustahab (recommended or Nawafil) Salah.

The shortest way to perform Witr Prayer is just by reciting Sura Al-Hamd, then three times Sura Tawheed, then one time Sura Falaq and one time Sura An-Naas. Qunut is recommended but it can be short like ALLAHUMMA SALLI Ala Muhammadin Wa AALI Muhammad.

Qunoot is recommended and not obligatory. You can recite a short Qunoot if you wish.

Yes. It is one of the best Du'a s in Qunoot. I have seen a big Marja' of Taqleed in Najaf Ashraf who used recite this Du'a in the Qunoot of every prayer.

We can pray for non Muslim parents, relatives and friends who are still alive, to Allah (SWT) to guide them to The Right Path and enlighten their hearts and minds with the light of the Truth.

For those who passed away as non Muslims, we can pray to Allah (SWT) to deal with them with His Mercy.

We are not allowed to seek forgiveness for those who insisted and died on Shirk (polytheism) as we read in Quran, Sura Tawbah, verse 113: It is not proper for the Prophet and the believers to seek forgiveness for the Mushriks, even though they be of kin.

Yes it is permissible to look at the Ka'bah during Qunoot because looking at the Ka'bah is a worship by itself. Nevertheless, it is always recommended during Qunoot of Prayers to look at your palms (inner side of your hands).
