Father

A father is the male parent of a child. Besides the paternal bonds of a father to his children, the father may have a parental, legal, and social relationship with the child that carries with it certain rights and obligations.

If the Khums of that amount was paid by your father, then no Khums again on it. Any amount which was Khumsable must be cleared by paying its Khums before distribution of the inheritance.

Helping people in need is very much encouraged in Islam. Female doctor who help people in need in any humanitarian mission will be rewarded just like male doctor who help people in need. Hijab and abiding the Islamic rules is compulsory in every Muslim female. Father's consent is necessary if she is unmarried as well as husband's permission if she is married.

Even if ur father is misbehaving with ur mother u are not to confront him as it can hurt his feelings and cause disrespect to him. You can support your mother emotionally with out disrespecting your father.

Circumcision is obligatory in every Muslim male if he is still uncircumcised no matter what his age is. Uncircumcised Muslim male is not ritually impure though he is not allowed to perform Tawaf around the Ka'bah. He is allowed to perform all the other worship practices like Salah, fasting etc. preparing the body of your father after his demise  is valid even if you are still uncircumcised. I advise you to get circumcised as soon as you can.

Virgin girl does require in her marriage the permission of her father or her paternal grand father. If father and the paternal grand father refuse proposal of marriage with out valid Islamic reason when the proposal is from a Kof’ (Compatible believer) and the girl needs to marry to save herself from sin, then the condition of the father’s permission or paternal grand father’s permission will not remain. That is when the refusal of the father or his father is not based on a valid Islamic rules.

In our Islamic tradition and culture, relationships are not just personal and individual. It is the coming together of two families. It should not be done in secrecy. That is a big red flag. How will he maintain his respect to her, if she's gone behind her family's back and done the most important thing in her life, without telling her family.

As is most cases, the male will definitely use this in a way that he will not show accountability to her family, and many other wrong things.

If she has not been married before, and even if she has been married, involving family is very important.

If you are living with him and want to move away, but are financially dependent, afraid to leave, etc., the best thing is to find someone reliable who understands your circumstances who can advise you on the practical options available.

It would also be helpful to find someone whom you can discuss the psychological aspects of your situation with, since it can be difficult to leave an abusive situation, even for someone who is financially and socially independent.

For instance, you could speak to a trusted adult with life experience, a counselor/psychologist, or a charity worker.

If you are in physical danger or being trafficked into illegal/dangerous jobs, this is especially urgent.

Later, you can consider how you may wish to keep ties with your father. "Keeping ties" can mean many things and in abusive situations may mean keeping more distant ties.

There isn't a religious requirement to live in the same home or be in close contact, but sometimes it can be difficult to leave a situation for financial, cultural, psychological, or other reasons.

Not at all. Your father remains your father and you must keep respecting him and treating him in the best way even if he was a very bad person. Even if your parents were Mushriks (Polytheusts), you must treat them nicely as we read in Quran. (Sura Luqman ; 15).

Islam does not allow anything which makes the child away from his parents. Cutting ties with any of the relatives is a sinful act, what about with the parents??

Even if the mother is divorced from the father, the rights of both of them on the child remain intact and both of them must maintain continuous contact between themselves child and his both parents. Father remains responsible to spend on his children till they are able to earn their livelihood.

Every saving which is owned for one year or more must be calculated for Khums. If the whole amount which he received on retirement was his right since one year more, then Khums is obligatory on the whole amount. If any portion of it was owned by him before less than one year, then no Khums on that portion until it completes one year in his own ownership or when his date of yearly Khums comes.

They have no right to direct hurtful remarks to you, and they will be responsible for that. Unfortunately, some family-run businesses become very toxic and a reason for severing ties with family members.

They might not know how these comments are hurting you, so explain it to them. They might not mean it as well. Many people express their frustration or anger with verbal outcry, saying bad things.

You must try to overlook that, for the sake of your work. Try to perfect your work contribution as well, so you dont give them an excuse to say anything but praise.

If things get worse, try to save up enough to do your own work, but do not leave on bad terms.

And Allah knows best
