Is vanilla extract permissible in Islam, considering that it is made using alcohol? Or is it allowed because it is not consumed for the purpose of intoxication, but rather only for baking or flavoring?

If you don’t know for sure that vanilla contains a reasonable percentage of alcohol, it is allowed to consume it.
