Welcome

Al-Islam.org is pleased to announce the launch of the Portal's Interface in Urdu. Due to the large number of Urdu speaking visitors & resources available, the Dilp Team decided to make an effort to digitize Urdu books, making it available for the public at large. Inshallah in the future visitors will be seeing more Urdu resources being added to the site.

To view the Portal's interface in Urdu, please select 'Urdu' from the drop down menu found under the title 'Select Language', or visit the following URL:

Viewing Urdu Text using Ghadeer font

Al-Islam.org uses 'Ghadeer' font to display Urdu Text. We highly recommend you install this font for best viewing of Urdu text on Al-Islam.org. If you can see the above text, in the same style as the image, it means the font has been installed correctly on your computer. If not, below are guidelines on installation & support of Ghadeer font.

Download & Run Ghadeer Installer

Download the Ghadeer Font Installer from the link below & run this file.

The font will automatically be installed. You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

If you're using Windows 98, in addition to the above, you'll need to download and install the following file from BBC Urdu Section:
