Make This Ashura A Turning Point
Bismillah, Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim. 'Inna li qatl al-Husayn harara fi qulub al-Mu'minin, la tabrudu abada.' There exists a fire that burns in the hearts of believers for the killing of Imam al-Husayn (a.s), for the tragedy that befell my grandson, Husayn and this fire will never be extinguished, this heat will never dissipate.
What the Prophet (S) is telling us is that the commotion you see, this burning sensation you feel in your heart right now, as we approach the beginning of the season of lamentation, the season of mourning and the season of sobbing and crying and shedding tears for Imam al-Husayn (a.s). This was planted there by Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala. And that no matter how much time progresses, no matter how the world develops and changes, the love for Husayn, the passion for Husayn will never go away. No matter how many obstacles obstruct our way. No matter how many pandemics take over the world. No matter what happens, our love for Husayn won't go away, as long as we maintain faith in Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, this beam of light continues to shine right into our heart.
And so my message to you here is this: that just as our forefathers, our ancestors are parents and grandparents, spanning generations and centuries for over a Millennium. Just as they conveyed the message and the passion of Imam al-Husayn (a.s) and the love of Aba Abillah al-Husayn and his family and his companions, to their children and to their children's children, we need to do the same thing.
Now, we are in circumstances which may compel us to become more creative. We are, in fact, in circumstances which may prove to be an incredible turning point, a time for families to commemorate the tragedy of Aba Abdillah al-Husayn in their homes, for parents to reconnect once again with their children, for parents to become the preachers and the children to become their audience.
What better opportunity than to do this and this day and age? Thus forging greater bond and thus conveying the message of Aba Abdillah in a more intimate fashion.
May Allah bless you all. I beg for your prayers as I will keep you in my prayers and du'as InshaAllah, so that we could serve Aba Abdillah this year, as we have done previously and to continue to do this until the day we meet the Imam InshaAllah in Paradise.
Wa as-salam alaykum, wa Rahmatullahi, wa barakatu.
Bismillah, Al-Rahman, Al-Rahim. 'Inna li qatl al-Husayn harara fi qulub al-Mu'minin, la tabrudu abada.' Es gibt ein Feuer, das in den Herzen der Gläubigen für die Ermordung von Imam al-Husayn (a.s) brennt, für die Tragödie, die meinem Enkel Husayn widerfuhr, und dieses Feuer wird niemals erlöschen, diese Hitze wird sich niemals verflüchtigen.
Was der Prophet (s) uns sagt, ist, dass die Aufregung, die ihr seht, dieses brennende Gefühl, das ihr in eurem Herzen spürt, gerade jetzt, da wir uns dem Beginn der Zeit der Klage, der Zeit der Trauer und der Zeit des Schluchzens und Weinens und des Vergießens von Tränen um Imam al-Husayn (a.s) nähern. Dies wurde von Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, dort eingepflanzt. Und dass, egal wie viel Zeit vergeht, egal wie sich die Welt entwickelt und verändert, die Liebe zu Husayn, die Leidenschaft für Husayn niemals vergehen wird.
Ganz gleich, wie viele Hindernisse sich uns in den Weg stellen. Ganz gleich, wie viele Pandemien die Welt heimsuchen. Was auch immer geschieht, unsere Liebe zu Husayn wird nicht erlöschen, solange wir den Glauben an Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, aufrechterhalten, wird dieser Lichtstrahl weiterhin in unser Herz scheinen.
Und so lautet meine Botschaft an Sie: Genau wie unsere Vorväter sind auch unsere Vorfahren Eltern und Großeltern, die Generationen und Jahrhunderte über ein Jahrtausend hinweg überdauert haben. So wie sie die Botschaft und die Leidenschaft von Imam al-Husayn (a.s) und die Liebe von Aba Abillah al-Husayn und seiner Familie und seinen Gefährten an ihre Kinder und deren Kindeskinder weitergegeben haben, müssen wir dasselbe tun.
Jetzt befinden wir uns in einer Situation, die uns zu mehr Kreativität zwingen könnte. Wir befinden uns in der Tat in einer Situation, die sich als ein unglaublicher Wendepunkt erweisen könnte, eine Zeit, in der die Familien der Tragödie von Aba Abdillah al-Husayn in ihren Häusern gedenken, in der die Eltern sich wieder mit ihren Kindern verbinden, in der die Eltern zu Predigern und die Kinder zu Zuhörern werden.
Gibt es eine bessere Gelegenheit, als dies in der heutigen Zeit zu tun? Auf diese Weise können wir eine engere Verbindung herstellen und die Botschaft von Aba Abdillah auf eine intimere Art und Weise vermitteln.
Möge Allah Sie alle segnen. Ich bitte euch um eure Gebete, denn ich werde euch in meinen Gebeten und du'as InshaAllah halten, damit wir Aba Abdillah in diesem Jahr dienen können, wie wir es zuvor getan haben, und dies bis zu dem Tag fortsetzen, an dem wir den Imam InshaAllah im Paradies treffen.

Finché avremo fede in Allah, Subhana wa Ta'ala, questo raggio di luce continua a brillare nel nostro cuore.
E quindi il mio messaggio per voi qui è questo:così come i nostri antenati, i genitori e i nonni, attraverso le generazioni e i secoli per oltre un millennio, hanno trasmesso ai loro figli e ai figli dei loro figli il messaggio dell'Imam al-Husayn [la pace di Dio sia su di lui) e la passione per lui, l'amore per Aba Abillah al-Husayn e per la sua famiglia e i suoi compagni, e così dobbiamo fare anche noi.
Oggi siamo in circostanze che ci costringono a diventare più creativi. Siamo, in effetti, in circostanze che possono rivelarsi un incredibile punto di svolta. Vi supplico di pregare per me come io vi ricorderò nelle mie preghiere e 'du'a' [suppliche] inshaAllah [se Dio vuole], affinché possiamo servire Aba Abdillah quest'anno, come abbiamo fatto in precedenza, e continuare a farlo fino al giorno in cui incontreremo l'Imam, inshaAllah, in paradiso.
