The Power Of Imam Husayn ('A)
Who is the Sayyid ash-Shu'ada? Look in the tradition and see. Says the one, Imam Husayn right, was coming into this world. Six months. After six months, he came into this world. Says that birth and carrying Husayn was very painful for Zahra'. She felt a lot of pain. And you see in the tradition, you understand why. She used to cry at night time.
Somebody asked, they said, Why do you cry at night time? She says, What can I do? At night time, this child converses to me. When he converses to me, he says, "Ya Ummi, ana gharib" . He says, My mother, I'm a gharib (stranger), I feel lonely. I feel as if I have no one. I feel no one recognize me. He says, "Ana mazloom", I am oppressed. "Ana wahid". I'm alone. "Anaa adtchan", I am thirsty. This child talks to me, and he tells me that he is thirsty, and he tells me that he is oppressed, and he tells me there is no one there for him.
You know what the tradition says? She goes crying to her father. She says, Father, tell me why does my child do this? Father, heavy hearted replies, says, Jibra'il just came to me and he told me your son will be massacred on the plains of Karbala.
You know what she says? She says, Father, I don't want my son to come into this world if this is going to happen. He says, but no Zahra, remember, through the blood of your son, he will give life to this nation. He will reviveive this nation. His blood will be so powerful that revolutions will be formed on this blood.
Go and see. Don't you see revolutions forming on this blood? Don't you see that when our brothers and when our communities are in pain, the minute the word of Husayn comes in, you find that we stand up again. That's that power. But it doesn't stop there.
Wer ist Sayyid al-Shuhada' (Herr der Märtyrer)? Schaut in der Überlieferung nach und seht. Es heißt, dass es Imam al-Husayn ist, der nach sechs Monaten [im Leib seiner Mutter] in diese Welt kam. Es heißt, dass die Geburt und das Austragen von al-Husayn sehr schmerzhaft für Sayyida Al-Zahra' waren. Sie empfand große Schmerzen. Und in der Überlieferung erkennt man warum. Sie weinte in der Nacht.
Jemand fragte sie: "Warum weinst du nachts?" Sie antwortete: "Was kann ich tun? Nachts spricht dieses Kind zu mir. Wenn es zu mir spricht, sagt es: "Ya Ummi, ana gharib" Mutter, ich bin ein Fremder. Ich fühle mich einsam. Ich fühle mich, als ob ich niemanden hätte. Ich fühle mich von niemandem erkannt. Er sagt: "Ana mazloom", ich bin unterdrückt. "Ana wahid", ich bin allein. "Ana adshan", ich bin durstig. Dieses Kind spricht zu mir und sagt mir, dass es durstig ist, dass es unterdrückt ist und dass niemand für es da ist.
Wisst Ihr, was die Überlieferung sagt? Sie ging weinend zu ihrem Vater und sagte: "Vater, sag mir, warum tut mein Kind so etwas? Ihr Vater antwortete schweren Herzens: "Jibra'il (Gabriel) ist gerade zu mir gekommen und hat mir gesagt, dass dein Sohn in den Ebenen von Karbala' massakriert werden wird.
Wisst Ihr, was sie daraufhin antwortete? Sie sagte: "Vater, ich will nicht, dass mein Sohn auf die Welt kommt, wenn ihm dies widerfahren wird. Er sagte: "Aber nein, Zahra'. Vergiss nicht, durch das Blut deines Sohnes wird er dieser Nation das Leben schenken. Er wird diese Nation wiederbeleben. Sein Blut wird so mächtig sein, dass Revolutionen durch dieses Blut entstehen werden."
Und jetzt schaut. Seht Ihr nicht, wie sich aus diesem Blut Revolutionen bilden? Seht Ihr nicht, dass, wenn unsere Geschwister und unsere Gemeinschaften leiden, wir im Moment, in dem der Name von "Husayn" ertönt, wieder aufstehen? Das ist diese Kraft. Aber das ist noch nicht alles.
