What is Makarem al-Akhlaq?

It is not difficult to treat people well, who treat you well.

But Rasul Allah did not say, "Innama bu'ithtu li utammima mahaasin al- akhlaq."- ["I was raised/sent to perfect the best of character"] He says, what? "Bu'ithtu li utammima Makarim al-akhlaq"- ["I was raised/sent to perfect the most noble of character"]

What is 'Makarim al-akhlaq'?

'Makarim al-akhlaq' is much more difficult.

'Makarim al-akhlaq' is to say salaam to the one who never says salaam to you.

'Makarim al-akhlaq' is to help the one who never extended a helping hand to you when you were in need.

'Makarim al-akhlaq' is to pardon the one who has wronged you. To make du'a for the one who has wronged you.

'Makarim al-akhlaq' is what Rasul Allah did when he conquered Makkah.
