Remembering the great martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) makes us more near to the Islamic teachings for which Imam Hussaun (AS) has sacrificed his life. Carrying the bier of Imam Hussain (AS) reminds us to be better human beings. Hajj rituals remind us about the sacristy of Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismael (AS).

Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) wept on his uncle Hamza knowing that martyrs are alive, but we express our grief on the martyrdom of the most beloved servants of Allah (SWT).

Knowledge of the unseen has degrees and it is totally with Allah (SWA) and He grants parts of it to whom He Gifts from His best servants. Allah (SWT) stated is Quran that He Grants to His accepted servants parts from the Knowledge of the unseen. No Prophet had the total knowledge of the unseen like Allah, nor any Infallible Imam, but they had whatever Allah (SWT) Had Gifted them. Imams were unaware about the poison which was given to them despite having great deal of the knowledge of the unseen in other matters. Allah (SWT) Grants whatever He Wants to whomsoever He wants.

Allah (SWT) Knows what is in the heart of every one and we are not entitled to judge the intentions of people. Allah Knows why there were killed and what was in their hearts when they were defending their homes and families. We read in the Hadeeths that a person who dies while defending his family or land will get the reward of Shaheed.

'Our responsibility as followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) is to support the oppressed against the oppressors as Ameerul Mo'mineen Ali (AS) ordered us: Be against the oppressor and with the oppressed.
