What can I do to prevent Allah (SWT) from punishing me for my mother's anger when I remain silent instead of responding to her shaming and ridiculing behavior, which leads her to hold a grudge for days and makes it difficult for me to apologize to her?

First of all, you should never think that you should deal with your mother or father like dealing with others. Parents are above all others and you should always deal with them as your masters after Allah and Ahlul Bayt, and never think them equal to you or similar.. When your parent get angry at you, you must apologize immediately in the way which makes them pleased with you. Never think apologizing to your parents an insult but it is in fact an honor. The Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) guided the believers to Beal with their parents like a slave dealing with his masters. Such humbleness with parents grants you a status in this life and Hereafter. If you read the supplication for the parents in the Sahiba Sajjadia,bayou will see how we need to deal with our parents mistakes by complete submission and tolerance.

‘You must try your best to make your parents happy with you as they are your origin and the cause of your creation in this life.

‘Forget you ego in front of your parents and deal with them as an obedient servant as far as they don’t order you to do wrong.

When I was 14 or 15 I used to question the Quran and the Prophet with unspeakable things. Now that I am 17 I deeply regret it and wish it had never happened. Is there anyway I can ask Allah for forgiveness for the horrible sin I have committed?

Allah is The Best Forging and The Most Merciful. You seek from Him to forgive you and protect you from Satan and Satanic thoughts and acts. Allah Knows what is in our hearts and Grants His Mercy and Forgiveness to the sincere believers who really repent their sins and decide not to do it again.

Fornication is a major sin which is mentioned in Quran in Sura Al-Furqan, verse 68 : And those who never invoke any other god but Allah, nor kill any soul which Allah Has forbidden. Nor fornicate, and whoever does this shall receive sever punishment).

Forgiveness needs sincere feeling of sorrow and repentance, and firm decision not to do it again and begging to Allah to forgive.

I regularly pray Fajr and am responsible to wake my children up for Fajr as well. But on rare occasion I have missed Fajr due to not waking up to the alarm or forgetting to set the alarm at night. What steps should I take to seek Allah’s forgiveness?

It is a sinful act to deliberately miss any obligatory Prayer. If it happens for any reason, we need to sincerely seek forgiveness after deciding not to do the sin again, then begging to Allah, The Most Merciful, to forgive us. Allah (SWT) like those who repent and sincerely seek purification. (2:222).
