Salah ("worship", صلاة; pl. صلوات ṣalawāt; also salat), or namāz (Persian: نَماز) in some languages, is one of the Five Pillars in the faith of Islam and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim (Male & Female, with certain exemptions based on Taqwa).
