Ruku'

Rukūʿ (Arabic: رُكوع‎) refers to two things in Islam.
1. RUKU is a step of prayer in Islam where someone bows down (places hands on knees) and then goes to Sajdah (placing forehead on the ground).

While praying, I was in my second Ruku and leaned forward to rise, but then recalled I needed to perform Tashahud, so I went back down to do it before continuing my prayer. Is my prayer still considered valid?

Yes, your prayer is valid but you need to perform two Sajda of Sahw immediately after your prayer. Sajda of Sahw is prostration and saying : BISMILLAH WA BILLAH ALLAHUMMA SALLI Ala Mohammad Wa AALI Mohammed. Then sitting and prostrating again and repeating the same. Then saying Tashahhud and Salam.

Ring . Ruku' . Imam Ali b. Abi Talib

Who had owned the ring previously, the one that Hazrat Ali gave in charity to the beggar while in Ruku?

Imam Ali (AS) was the owner of that ring and he gave it to the poor person. According to a narration from Ammar Al-Sabaati عمار الساباطي from Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS), the ring was in the finger of Miran ibn Tawq who was leader of Kafirs who was killed by Imam Ali (AS) and the ring was taken from his fingered by Imam Ali (AS) and was given to the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) who gave it back to Imam Ali (AS) as part of his share from the spoils and put it in his own fingered then gave it to the poor person during his Rukoo'.

'Al-Ghazali who is a well known Sunni scholar stated in his book Sirrul Alamein that the ring which Imam Ali (AS) gave to the poor during Rukoo' was the ring of Sulaiman (AS).

When should the Takbir be said after Ruku during prayers? Some people say it during Ruku and then rise, while others say it after saying "Sami allahu liman hamidah" and before going down into Sujood?

Takbeer is recommended before and after actions of Salah, like Rukuu', Sojood. Takbeer should be said when you are steady not moving.

I think I made a mistake in Salah where I didn’t go down for Ruku and started reading standing up. But when I realized I did Ruku and said that part again. Is my prayer valid?

Missing Ruku' invalidate Salah because Ruku' is one of the basic five obligatory acts of Salah. If you remembered and performed Ruku; before going for next step, then your Salah will be valid. If you go ahead to next Rak'at, before performing Ruku', then Salah is invalid because of missing one basic obligatory act.

Is saying "Samiallahu liman hamidah" after Ruku optional or is it obligatory?

It is recommended and not obligatory to say it. No doubt saying it will bring reward which you will not get if you don’t say it.

Should all of one's fingers be reaching the knees when bowing in prayer? Should they be position at the upper part of the knee bones?

It is compulsory during Rokoo' ركوع to make your hand touch your knee even if your figure touch your knee. If your hand did not touch your knee during Rokoo', your Rokoo' will be invalid.

When we pray we are supposed to bend down and recite “Subhana Rabbi Al’atheem” but I have not been reciting it in my past prayers though I did bend down. Do I have to repeat those prayers?

In Rokou' when you bend down it is enough to repeat سُبْحانَ اللّهِ (i.e. subḥānal lāh ) three times or say سُبْحانَ رَبِّیَ الْعَظیمِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ (i.e. subḥāna rabbiyal ʿaẓīmi wa biḥamdih ) only once.

If you didn't know the ruling and just bowed down you don't need to repeat those prayers.

What should we do if we proceeded to Ruku before the Imam during Friday prayers?

If you proceed to Rukoo' before the Imam of Jama'ah or Jum'ah thinking that he is in Rukoo', you need to stand back and return to Rukoo' then follow the Imam. Your Salaah will be valid.

in the mentioned case, you should go back in the standing position (qiyam) and continue to follow the Imam.

Dhikr . Ruku'

I understand that it is recommended to say the Dhikr of Sujood and Ruku more than once. But is it superior to say Subhanallah 3 times and then recite the Dhikr of Ruku, or just to recite the Dhikr of Ruku 3 times?

It is recommended to say Subhanallah one time or more before Dhikr of Rokoo' and Dhikr of Sojood. If you say Subhanallah three times, it will be like saying Dhikr of Rokoo' or Sojood one time. Repeating Dhikr is recommended either three times or five or seven or nine or more odds.

In a wajib salah offered by an individual, how many times is one allowed to repeat the same dhikr in Ruku or Sajdah? Is the maximum repetition allowed 7 times or is there no limit?

There is no limit of number of times we can repeat he Thikr or Rokoo' or Sojood. It is recommended to repeat it 3 or 5 or 7 or more in odd times.
