Can I wipe above my hair during Masah, considering my long hair reach above my eyebrows when combed? If the water must reach the scalp, can I follow another Marja for this issue as separating my hair for Masah is difficult, especially outside my home?

It is not obligatory to separate your hair but just wipe over the hair which has its roots on the area of wiping MASAH.

Ghusl . Hair . Shower . Water . Salah (Prayers)

I did Ghusl for about 5 minutes plus, but I feel like my hair was not washed enough. I was under the shower with water going on my hair for the 5 minutes, but I did not necessarily use my hands to wash it. Does my Ghusl and prayers count?

Being under the water for 5 minutes would, in most, if not all cases make water reach all parts of your head, and that would be enough for your ghusl. The important thing is you follow the correct procedure of ghusl, which is head/neck, then right side of body, then left side of body.

Avoiding excessive doubt is also very important.

Hair . Barber . Hijab

It is very difficult to find a male barber in my small town and almost all barbers there are women. Is it okay if a woman cuts my hair when I don't have any sense of attraction to them at all?

It is not allowed for a Muslim male to let a female (Non-Mahram) to touch any part of his body or hair, even if there is no sense of attraction.

Is it permissible to draw a picture of an unknown female face only with hair and heavy makeup and then sell it as artwork?

No. It is not permissible to display or sell a picture of a female exposing her hair and with make up on her face.

Such picture will promote wrong attitude against women which is used by the sinners who look at the female a source of sexual amusement. Woman is much higher and more noble than to be used as a piece of artwork.

Does the hair need to be completely dry for Wudu or is it enough if the water of the hand overcomes any moisture or wetness of the hair?

Hair does not to be completely dry for Mas-h in Wudu. Water remains on the hands should overcome the moisture or wetness on the hair.

Woman . Dye . Hair . Muharram

Can a women dye her hair in the month of Muharram to get rid of white hair?

Bismihi ta'ala

It is our Shi'i culture that in the two months of Muharram and Safar we do not engage in celebration or any form of public happiness, or adorning ourselves with zeenah, makeup, and so on.

If one was to dye their hair (as zeenah) in desecrating the sanctity of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.), then it would certainly be haram.

However, for the sake of getting rid of white hair, and not for zeenah, it would not be considered haram, but best not to, especially if the common custom ('urf) sees it as something wrong. As the hadith expresses, we show happiness when Ahlul Bayt are happy, and we show grief when Ahlul Bayt are sad.
