In the country where I work, it is illegal to work on a tourist visa. However, I am currently employed at a restaurant using my tourist visa. Does this make my income Haram, as I am violating the country's laws?

It depends on the nature and the effects of your work. If your work does not harm any one and does not involve any wrong act on people, then it is allowed. If you are in doubt, then you may consult local trusted pious Ulama in the area where you are working now.
