Shahada

The Shahada (Arabic: الشهادة‎, "the testimony") is an Islamic creed declaring belief in the oneness of God (tawhid) and the acceptance of Muhammad as God's prophet. The declaration, in its shortest form, reads (right to left in Arabic):
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلله مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱلله
lā ʾilāha ʾillā llāh muḥammadun rasūlu llāh
There is no god but God.

Mut’ah marriage is not allowed with atheist or Mushrik unless and until she believes in Islam or a holy book like Torah or Bible (to be from People of Book). It is not only reciting the Kalma but more importantly believing that No Gods but Allah and Mohammad is His messenger (to be a Muslim),  or believing in Judaism or Christianity to be from Ahl al-Kitab. With out that, the marriage is invalid.

The obligatory recitation in Tashahhud in Salah is : ASHHADU ANLA ELAAHA ELLALLAH WAHDAHU LA SHAREEKA LAH WA ASHHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN ABDOHU WA RASOOLOH ALLAHUMMA SALLI ALA MUHAMMADIN WA AALI MOHAMMAD.

There are recommended recitations before and after Tashahhud which can be found in many books and it can be short or long depending on what you want to recite.

The condition and requirement of converting to Islam is to testify that there is one God, the Almighty God, and Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) is the Messenger of God.

This is the shahadah, or shahadatayn, or what some refer to as the "kalimah".

As for testifying to the Wilayah of Imam Ali (a.s.), this is not an essential componant of converting to Islam. Once one is a Muslim, they will choose the type of Islam they will be affiliated to. Of course, our belief is the only true Islam is the Islam represented in the Progeny of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) - the Twelve Imams (a.s.).

And Allah knows best

You should never forward such messages at all because it contains threatening others and scaring them if they don't do something which is never stated in Quran or by the Prophet (SAWA) or Ahlul Bayt (AS).

Reciting La Ilaaha Illallah لا إله إلا الله  brings great rewards, and repeating it brings more rewards. There is a Hadeeth stating that if the Muslim recites La Ilaaha Ilalallah 100 times in a day, he will get the maximum reward on that day except those who recited more than him.

No, you do not need to take them off when you go to the bathroom, as long as you are certain they will not be contaminated with any najasah, and you keep them away from any impurity, or from you touching it without wudhu.

Otherwise, you can take them off.

Another suggestion would be to paint a layer of clear-colour nail polish.

Many Sunni books narrated authentic Hadeeths from the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) that Ali is the deputy and the successor of the Prophet (SAWA) e.g.

1. Musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal in Musnad Al-Asharah, Hadeeth 841: The Prophet said: Ali is  my Khaleefa.

2. Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal, fadha'il al-Sahaba, Hadeeth number 1016: Ali is my Wasi .

3. Musnad Ahmed ibn Hanbal: It written on the gate of Paradise: LA ILAAHA ILLALLAH, MUHAMMAD RASOOLULLLAH, ALI AKHO RASOOLILLAH.

4. Al-Bukhari in his book Al-Tareekh Al-Kabeer vol. 1, p.375 that the Prophet (SAWA) said on the day of Ghadeer: For whom I am the master, Ali is his master.

5. Al-Albani in his book Takhreej Al-Hadeeth Al-Nabawi , Hadeeth number 94 that the Prophet said: Ali is the master of every of everyone who believes in me as his master.

1. The Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) has ordered us to do so as it clear in the Hadeeth : When you say Laa ELAAHA Illallah, Muhammad Rasoolullah, say : :Ali Ameerul Mo'mineen. (Kitab Al-Ehtijaj, page 158).

2. Hadeeth of the Prophet (SAWA): When I was elevated to the Sky, I saw writing on the Throne العرش : LAA ELAAHA ILLALLAH, MUHAMMAD RASOOLULLAH, AYYADTOHO BI ALI لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله، أيّدتُهُ بِعليّ

This Hadeeth was narrated not only in Shia books but also in many Sunni books e.g. Al-Manaaqib by Ibn Al-Maghazili, page 93, Al-Shaafi by Qadhi E'yaadh 138, Al-Durr Al-Manthour by Al-Soyooti  4:153, Al-Khasaa'is Al-Khubra by Al-Soyooti 1:7.

3. Hadeeth narrated by Abdullah Ibn Mas'ood from the Prophet Muhammad (SAWA): An angle came to me saying : O Muhammad, ask the previous prophets and messengers who were been sent before you; what was their message? I asked him: What was their message? He said: They were been sent on following your message and following Ali Ibn Abi Talib. ( Ma'rifat 'Oloom Al-Hadeeth by the wellknown Sunni imam al-Haakim Al-Nisaburi , p. 96).

4. Hadeeth of the Prophet to Ali: I asked Allah to keep your name with my name whenever I will be mentioned, and He granted me that.( Kanzul Ommal 13:113).

5. After the Prophetic announcement of Al-Ghadeer ( For whom I am the master, Ali is his master), Athaan (Azaan) was declared with Ashhadu Anna Aliyyan Ameerul Mo'mineen)  (Al-Salaafah Fi Tareekh Al-Khilafah by the Egyptian Sunni Alim Al-Maraaghi, page 36 and 38.

Tashahhud is an obligatory part of Salah which must be performed exactly as the Prophet (SAWA) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) taught us to perform according to the authentic Prophetic Hadeeth (Perform Salah as you saw me performing Salah)  (Sallo Kama Ra'aitomooni Osalli)صَلّوا كما رأيتموني أُصَلّي.

Imam Jafar Al-Sadiq (AS) taught his followers all details of Salah including Tashahhud. ( Amaali Al-Shaikh Al-Sadouq , page 498 narrating from Hammaad Bin Easa).

Tashahhud must have ALLAHUMMA SALLI 'ALA MUHAMMAD WA AALI MUHAMMAD which mentions Imam Ali (AS) and all the Infallible Ahlul Bayt (AS).

We are not allowed to add on Tashahhud more than what Ahlul Bayt (AS) taught us.

We can mention the name of Imam AALI (AS) in the form of Du'a within our Salah after Tashahhud, like saying : ALLAHUMMA SALLI 'ALA AMEERIL MO'MINEEN. Du'a is always good within our Salah and not only in Qunoot.

By this Du'a, we will be mentioning the holy name of Ameerul Mo'mineen (AS) and not adding on the Tashahhud which was been taught to us by Ahlul Bayt (AS).

Wassalam.
